Does that mean people can only compete twice in NQS events?

Is there any chance of expanding the number of NQS comps? Our closest comp was a 13 hour drive (2.5 hour flight) We live in south florida

The exact number of NQS competitions athletes will be allowed to compete in is still being reviewed.

can you still skate up a level?

Does it also apply to adult figure skating? (E.g. Pre-Bronze, Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.)

How do the changes to MITF affect a skater that has already finished all tests? Do we have to take more tests?

If a skater registers to compete in Novice in the Excel Series, is Novice their competitive floor for NQS as well?

The MITF tests already passed will still stand, the name of the test on the skater's record will change. The actual test requirements are not changing, just the naming convention.

Cathryn - yes, the floor will extend to both series. This is a starting point and we will monitor how this works for athletes in the field.
